6 ISLANDS, 3 LAGOONS, 13 BEACHES
Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and a sky-blue ocean, the Bawah Reserve lies in a carefree and protected seclusion 160 nautical miles (300 km) northeast of Singapore, in Indonesia’s remote Anambas archipelago. Surrounded by crystal clear turquoise waters, blue lagoons and coral reefs, this untouched and previously uninhabited marine preservation area caters to outdoor adventurers with an appetite for indulgence, as well as those looking for paradise in search of relaxation. Bawah offers the true meaning of sustainable luxury.
LOCATION & TRANSFER
Our trip starts with a luxury car at the hotel where I stayed in Singapore, and took me to the Tanah Merah terminal. Here, I was met by a member of the Bawah team and taken on a short ferry ride to Batam, Indonesia.
Then in Indonesia the transfer to the resort is done through the resort’s private seaplane.
Beach Suite
A luxury beachfront tent suite nestled among lush foliage and just steps from white sand and sparkling lagoons. Peaceful privacy, gentle breezes and sea views from your balcony. The perfect place to recharge batteries
Overwater Bungalow
Live all this perfect wonder, but experiencing being able to wake up in a bungalow on the water. It is breathtaking.
THE POOL & BEACH
The swimming pool surrounded by nature is super beautiful and full of natural charm. We are easily abstracted that we are in a resort. The beaches are phenomenal, there are 13 at the resort, and a sandbar. Fine white sand, water of a surreal and warm color, colorful fish and coral. It leaves anyone speechless.
TREE TOPS RESTAURANT
In addition to the whole resort being amazing, the food is magnificent (it looks like it is out of a French luxury restaurant), and the view from the restaurant is incredible.
It is an incredible combination, a jewel in Indonesia, hardly comparable.
