A true jewel in the English crown, in the heart of London

The Savoy Hotel is a luxury hotel located in the Strand in the City of Westminster in central London, England.

HOTEL

The Savoy, is a place where history and iconic elegance mingle with new-world sophistication. A luxurious 5 star hotel, at the same time conservative and elegant in the British style. So at the beginning of my description, I mentioned that it was like a true jewel in the crown.

SUITES

The suites are spacious, comfortable, with a

sophisticated art deco. The spacious open-plan suites are equipped with a king-size bed and living and sleeping areas. Some feature a walk-in closet and dressing area, and all have luxurious marble bathrooms with separate showers, the famous Savoy rain shower and Penhaligon toiletries.

THE VIEW

To complement all the luxury of the suites, for me the most luxurious aspect is being able to lie in bed and see Big Ben, the River Thames, the London Eye, etc.

The hotel is right on the banks of the river, which allows a direct view of London’s main monuments. My heart was going to explode with emotion!

River Restaurant by Gordon Ramsay

We went for breakfast at Gordon Ramsay’s The River Restaurant, a new restaurant by The Savoy’s multi-Michelin star chef.

The restaurant is located in the heart of the hotel, with panoramic views over the River Thames, offering guests and destination guests a classic, elegant and relaxed dining environment throughout the day.

The Menu is amazing, and has several wonderful options. We went for breakfast, tried pancakes (I think they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life), among other dishes, like eggs royal (which were cooked to perfection). I highly recommend this restaurant, even if you are not staying at the hotel.
